In the face of a hopeless situation, Christ and His Gospel call us to be mindful of the things of God that we might receive the promise, as it was given to Abraham. What does that mean in the face of the political and economic realities we currently face? What does the Gospel call us to do, in this time? Where is the Golgotha, to which Christ calls us, in this generation? Let us be mindful of the proper things!
