Radical hospitality is a term that is well used in Christian circles. Paul tells us we are to practice it, learning how to show love in the Name of Christ. But what does that really mean?
We can have many conceptions of radical hospitality. We can find ways to make such love comfortable to us. Or we can see what the Word shows us about this type of welcome.
Radical hospitality is strange. It is wild. It is “far out.” It is a love that seems incredibly out of place.
What does that look like?
I think Mary gives us a perfect example of what is meant by this type of welcome. So, in this message I use her example to explain the concept of what love and welcome requires.
What are your thoughts? What does this type of welcome look like to you? And, how are you doing at conforming to the demands of this type of love?
