Know Thyself! That’s what we are told. And, in some senses we strive to know ourselves. But how well do you know thyself?
Do you know thyself truly? Or, do you know the self you portray to those around you?
We must ask that question because if we’re honest with ourselves it is easy to fool ourselves. It’s easy to become so accustomed to wearing whatever masks we wear that we can no longer distinguish between the two. But the Word of God knows the difference and can separate the two.
The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, and is a discerner of our thoughts and intents. So, we cannot hide from the Word of God.
