When Jesus Christ comes among people, He brings good news to the poor and set the captives free from their oppressions. But, what if the body of Christ is nothing more than a term for a building where people who claim to be Christian gather?
The Church has been known as the body of Christ. The question becomes: is that simply a nickname? Or does it mean something more?
This term was used by the early church. It was used by St. Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:27. So it has to be more than a nickname. It has to be something meaningful, right?
Well, that’s this week’s exploration and I’d like to know your thoughts on this message.
