It is important to trust the Word of God. Many of us hear the Scriptures and take them at face value. We don’t question it. We say we trust the Word, yet we don’t even understand it. How can you trust something that doesn’t make sense?
The Bible says a lot of things that if we’re honest, sound a bit strange. It’s easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye? Jesus forbid the demons from speaking because they knew Him? A virgin will bear a Son?
Do You Trust the Word Blindly?
You can’t truly trust something you’ve never examined. Think about it: you trust your parents, siblings, friends because they have proven to be true. Those who fail to be true are not trusted, right? Yet, with something as serious as the Word of God and eternity people decide to trust the Word blindly!? That can’t make much sense, can it?
