Denominations and Demon-Nations

Denominations and Demon-NationsBob Marley seh: “I been a Rasta from eversince…

Likewise, I and I been a Rasta from long, and always look on the various demon-nations (or denominations) of Christianity with dismay. Jesus Christ is One. And the Triune God is One. Yet, those who claim to be of the Body of Christ run towards division.

H. Richard Niebuhr called it Social Sources of Denominationalism. Because of Society and Culture, the people divide God…then claim to believe in One God. How can this be?

But, like Solomon say: “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”

Division is nothing new. The demons have been establishing nations among us even from the beginning of the Faith. Paul addresses these growing Demon-nations in 1 Corinthians 1:10-13. It seems even the early Church had this problem of division.

We humans can’t get out our own way! And, the demon-nations of the Church have grown so large that we are feeding on ourselves! According to The Center for the Study of Global Christianity, there are about 41,000 denominations worldwide. How in the world is that possible? Can there by that many different revelations of the One True God? Denominations divide from themselves, giving power to another demon declaring to come in the Jesus’ Name. #MercyLord

And the more we divide, the more we make the Crucifixion worthless. The more we divide as a Church, the more Easter means absolutely nothing! For like those who spit on Jesus, gambled for His clothes and divided his cloak in two, we continue to abuse the Savior of the World – tearing Him apart limb by limb. #HaveMercyOnUs

But shall we re-crucify Christ? Or will we let Him remain in the heavens until He comes again?

Here my out, and let me know what you think…
